Study examines E-911 reliability

The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) now offers the results of its Project LOCATE study, which last year examined wireless 91l location data transmissions to public safety answering points. The study tested the value of location data in terms of emergency dispatch services, the variables affecting location data accuracy and best practices.
