U.S. Army considers Nokia technology

Nokia has entered into an agreement with the U.S. Army that calls for the latter to evaluate the company’s PCS, WCDMA, 3G, GSM, and WiMAX technologies, as well as its wireless networking protocols, to determine their effectiveness for military and defense applications.
