Companies partner on wireless video surveillance

On-Net Surveillance Systems and AgileMesh formed a strategic partnership to offer video surveillance solutions over rapidly deployable wireless mesh networks, mainly for the use of public-safety forces including SWAT, HAZMAT, emergency rescue and firefighter teams. The solution includes enclosed, self-contained modules with video cameras, mounts, mesh transmitters, receivers and a control unit. This lets public-safety officers set up and access live and stored video in real time, according to the companies.
