Dublin, Ireland-based research firm Research and Markets announced the availability of its “Meeting the Interoperability Challenge for Public Safety Communications” report that delves into first responder’s inability to communicate during recent high-profile disasters and the crucial issues driving public-safety agencies to develop interoperable communications. The report evaluates the market issues surrounding communications interoperability and offers vendors advice on how to meet the interoperability challenges of public-safety communications. Findings are based on a panel of North American state and local public-safety agencies and Department of Homeland Security initiatives related to interoperability, according to the firm.
