SkyPort provides satellite-based communications to oil, gas clients

Carthage, Texas-based SkyPort Global Communications has signed an agreement to provide satellite bandwidth to Sabine Rig Communications’ oil and gas drilling clients. Sabine provides telephone and Internet service via satellite to crews at remote oil and gas drilling rigs. Under the terms of the one-year agreement, the company will deliver satellite bandwidth to Sabine customers in Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas and Louisiana, according to the company.
