Company provides free communications services for California wildfires

San Diego-based Solectek Corp., a manufacturer of wireless broadband transmission equipment, will restore communication networks that were damaged by recent fires in San Diego by offering local municipalities free emergency-radio links that can transmit data long distance, as a temporary replacement for fire-damaged landlines and wireless transmitters, the company announced.
