Trident to start demos of its interoperability solution

May 9, 2008 11:05 AM, - MRT

Trident Micro Systems soon will begin shipping its iOPT Comm-Tac interoperability devices to Reps for demonstration purposes. Reps should expect to receive the devices “in a month or so,” said Keith Rhodes, the company’s sales manager. Three units—two of which are rack mountable, while the other is an in-vehicle device—accommodate 30, 12 and 4 radios, respectively. Users are able to connect disparate radios simply by pushing a button or using iOPT Connect Software. Rhodes said the company plans “a major launch” of the platform this summer.
