UCLA deploys AtHoc’s emergency alerts

Burlingame, Calif.-based AtHoc announced that University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) has deployed its IWSAlerts for a campus-wide, mass emergency notification system. The notification system sends SMS text messages alerts to reach 45,000 individuals from a single console. Up to 15,000 online users will be notified via desktop alerts, according to the company.
