Vector processor supports multi-modes, standards

Eindhoven, Netherlands-based NXP Semiconductors unveiled the programmable Embedded Vector Processor, which enables mobile devices to support multi-mode and multi-standard platforms, including GSM, EDGE, WiMax and Wi-Fi networks.
