Dual-band cellular amplifier unveiled

St. George, Utah-based Wilson Electronics announced a new dual-band mobile wireless cellular amplifier featuring up to 3 watts of power. Used in conjunction with an omni-directional antenna, the amplifier gathers a signal, amplifies it and rebroadcasts it inside a vehicle to support multiple cell phones and data device so users are able to communicate in areas where dead spots exist, according to the company.
