S.C. emergency division deploys wireless chemical detectors

San Jose-based RAE Systems, a developer of wireless chemical detectors, announced that the South Carolina Emergency Management Division (SC-EMD) has deployed its AreaRAE wireless, toxic-gas monitors for its statewide emergency response programs. SC-EMD develops response plans and coordinates federal, state and local resources for mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery operations.
