Wireless network captures temperature, humidity data

San Ramon, Calif.-based Grape Networks has deployed a wireless sensor network for an agricultural company located in California’s Central Valley. The network covers more than 50 acres and consists of more than 200 wireless sensors that capture temperature, humidity and light data. The data then can be viewed on enabled cellular phone or PC, or received through Internet or e-mail alerts, according to the company.
