DHS: Dan Cotter discusses purpose of the new International Forum to Advance First Responder Innovation


Dan Cotter, acting director of the first-responders group at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science & Technology directorate, explains how the International Forum to Advance First Responder Innovation hopes to establish a global market for public-safety solutions that could reduce costs and drive innovation in the sector. Cotter spoke with IWCE’s Urgent Communications Editor Donny Jackson after the forum’s first meeting this week in Chicago.
