Proposed microwave tower site upsets bird lovers

Bird lovers fight a tower installation, pointing to federal scientists who first drawn to the communication tower issue in 1998 when 5000 to 10000 Lapland longspurs and other songbirds were found dead at the bases of three towers in western Kansas.
