IR Data Corp. adds storage capabilities to mesh router

Costa Mesa, Calif.-based IR Data Corp. announced the addition of a mesh-network attach storage technology to their WAP900 mesh router, which now offers 20 terabytes of distributed-network storage anywhere within a network using a Wi-Fi computer. The mesh router features a 902 to 928 MHz, broadband mesh radio for connectivity between units and a 2.4GHz, 802.11/g access point for user-level service, according to the company.
