Phihong introduces PoE midspan

Fremont, Calif.-based Phihong USA introduced the POE125U-4HP, a 4-port Gigabit Power-over-Ethernet midspan power insertion product for high-power applications. The product provides up to 36 W of power per port for powering wireless access points, IP cameras and security systems. It features IEEE 802.3af detection and disconnect, as well as pre-standard IEEE802.3at classification as well as full power support to Cisco AP1250 access points and is rack-mountable, the company said. It costs $169.
