Oak Brook company to provide public-safety broadband network

Oak Brook, Ill.-based Federal Signal Corp. and the city of Pocatello, Idaho, announced plans to deploy an interoperable communications platform that includes a 4.9 GHz public-safety broadband wireless network to deliver mission critical emergency communications to police, fire and EMS personnel.
