Wireless router unveiled

Encino, Calif.-based TechnoCom Corp., a developer of 5.9 GHz short-range communications technologies for vehicle-integration-infrastructure applications, launched its multiband configurable networking unit. The unit is an IEEE 802.11a/b/g-compliant wireless router that supports 4.9 GHz public safety systems, as well as 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz municipal Wi-Fi networks, according to the company.
