AirNet lands purchase orders worth $3 million

AirNet Communications Corp. announced that it has received purchase orders valued at about $3 million for its AdaptaCell 4000 base stations and AirSite 3000 Backhaul Free base stations. The units will be deployed in the 2.5 GHz data network of an undisclosed large, North American operator with approximately 1.7 million subscribers serving rural and metropolitan service areas throughout the United States, the company said. AirNet also said that about 85% of the approximately 100 cell sites purchased were for AirSite Backhaul Free base stations. Read the full news release.
