Cobra Electronics enters marine market

announced a line of handheld and fixed dual power VHF marine transceivers and power inverters, ranging from entry level to professional grade. Three models of handheld transceivers are available, from a 2-watt model to submersible 5-watt units. Two submersible 25-watt, GPS-enabled fixed transceivers are available, while the power inverters are available in 400-, 800-, 1500- and 2200-watt models. All four units feature GFCI AC outlets to protect against shock, according to the company.
