EDX Wireless acquires Comarco EDX assets

EDX Wireless LLC announced yesterday it had acquired all assets of Comarco Wireless Technologies’ EDX Division. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though EDX said the acquired sales, technical support and product development teams would remain in place. Additionally, EDX announced the appointment Steven Totty as CEO. Totty, a 25-year wireless industry veteran, extensive RF engineering background as well as business and product management expertise to the position, the company said. Also, the company announced that Harry R. Anderson, Ph.D., a founder of the original EDX in 1985, has taken a minority ownership position in EDX Wireless. He will serve as an advisor to the company’s management team.
