S.D. first responders to deploy public-safety software

New World Systems announced a $3 million contract to deploy its Windows-based Aegis/MSP public-safety software, which will replace a 10-year-old system employed by the Minnehaha County, S.D., Sheriff’s Office, Minnehaha Metro Communications, and the Sioux Falls, S.D., police and fire departments. The software supports computer-aided dispatch, police and fire records management, mobile computing and field reporting, while the Windows platform reduces training time, the company said.
