Signaling gateway passes E911 technical analysis

Feb 12, 2004 12:00 PM

CML Emergency Services

announced its SS7 Gateway has successfully completed technical analysis by Telcordia Technolgies. CML submitted the gateway for analysis to ensure it was able to “effectively leverage the capabilities of widely deployed SS7 networks,” according to a company press release. The gateway is a component of CML’s Wireless Direct solution, which enables public-safety answering points (PSAPs) to answer calls faster and more reliably. The PSAPs connect directly to commercial wireless carries through the gateway, which speeds call delivery, according to CML.
