Transcrypt wins Latin American orders totaling $500,000

Transcrypt International has received orders worth about $500,000 from Latin America customers, who will use the company’s voice privacy products in two-way radio systems, said Transcrypt parent EFJ, Inc. The Central and Latin America markets offer “many new opportunities” is important because they have “an extensive analog radio infrastructure in which the majority of the radios are not encrypted,” said EFJ CEO Michael Jalbert.
