APCO says federal funding vital for national wireless broadband network success

The Public Safety Spectrum Trust and APCO recently asked President Barack Obama to allocate $15 billion for the proposed public-private partnership to build a nationwide wireless broadband network for public safety in he 700 MHz band.

Lynnette Luna spoke with APCO president elect Richard Mirgon about the request and about the technology challenges APCO will face going forward.
