Phone link extends lines to remote area The i-WLL from Carlson Wireless Technologies is an Internet-ready, all-digital remote telephone link. It runs two POTS lines as far as 16km, line-of-sight, eliminating the expense of digging cable. These lines can be used in any combination of voice and data. A single user can use both lines, or the system can deliver a single line to each of two nearby buildings. Using the 2.4GHz frequency band, the link is license-free worldwide.
