Phazar Antenna Corp., a division of Mineral Wells, Texas-based Antenna Products Corp., received a $1.73 million contract from military communications system developer BAE Systems for the installation of low-band and high-band antenna matching unit assemblies in Alaska. Phazar expects to complete the installation by Nov. 1, the company said.

The equipment will be installed at the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program ionospheric research site near Gokona, Alaska, where Antenna Products built and installed 132 crossed dipole antennas in 2004.
