California dispatch center upgrades

TriTech Software Systems announced the implementation of its VisiCAD Command and VisiNet Mobile solutions at Santa Barbara (Calif.) County's Public Safety Dispatch Center, operated by the county's sheriff's department. The former is a computer-aided dispatch solution while the latter is a wireless PC-based mobile fleet application. Together the two systems bridge the communication gap between dispatch and first responders in the field by supporting the sharing of incident information and providing access to patient and criminal records data, both in real-time.
