Company provides free communications following California wildfires

San Diego-based Solectek Corp., a manufacturer of wireless broadband transmission equipment, helped restore communication networks that were damaged by recent fires in San Diego by offering local municipalities free emergency-radio links capable of transmitting data long distance as a temporary replacement for fire-damaged landlines and wireless transmitters, the company said.
