Digital Angel lands $3.2 million for pilot program

Digital Angel landed a $3.2 million contract from the South Carolina Army National Guard for a pilot program involving its OuterLink satellite communications network. The program will test the network's ability to provide interoperable communications between the National Guard's and Department of Homeland Security's terrestrial communications networks, as well as with an Aircraft Vibration Monitoring System, which provides in-flight reporting of aircraft vibration and other mechanical data.
