EFJ, Inc. announced that its EFJohnson subsidiary has entered into a contract-manufacturing partnership with Dallas-based MTI. EFJ Chairman and CEO Michael Jalbert said the partnership would enable EFJohnson to leverage economies of scale offered by MTI but stressed that EFJohnson would retain control over the manufacture of its products by placing engineering, product planning, testing and quality assurance personnel within MTI's facilities.
