Jun 1, 2005 12:00 AM

EFJohnson said it has been awarded a contract worth $2.9 million to provide the Department of Defense with Project 25-compliant radios and accessories.

Also, EFJohnson sister company Transcrypt International announced a $1.4 million contract from an undisclosed customer in the Middle East to provide encryption boards and programming devices that will help secure the customer's two-way land mobile radio communications system.

Transcrypt previously landed a $1.9 million contract in January from a customer in the Middle East for voice security products for a two-way radio system.
