EWA Awarded License-Management Contract

Following completion of a formal competitive bidding process, the Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA) was awarded a three-year contract to provide FCC license management, application preparation, frequency coordination and related spectrum advisory services to Metro, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Metro's service area covers 1433 square miles with a population of more than 9.6 million, which is nearly one-third of California's population. Metro's critical spectrum resources are located in numerous bands including 160, 450, 508 and 900 MHz.
