Medical center adopts wireless system

Richardson, Texas-based InnerWireless announced that Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, Colo., would deploy the company's medical-grade wireless system at its new 50-acre campus. The system supports Wi-Fi, voice over IP, two-way radios and paging. In addition, the hospital will have a wireless medical telemetry service, which enables the transmission of patient data from anywhere in the hospital, even during transport to medical tests and procedures, according to InnerWireless.
