Michigan utilities to upgrade network

Team Simoco announced that the Michigan Three Alliance — which consists of Great Lakes Energy Cooperative, Presque Isle Electric and Gas Co-op, and Wolverine Power Supply Cooperative — has selected the company to upgrade its communications network. DX Radio Systems will handle the deployment, which will use Team Simoco's IP-based Xfin voice and data platform. The upgrade involves 114 base stations at 29 sites in western Michigan.
