Microphone picks up vibrations in skull

Jan 1, 2001 12:00 PM, MOBILE RADIO TECHNOLOGY STAFF

The skull microphone system from Otto Communications is designed for most breathing apparatus applications. The lightweight unit is a combination of a skull mic, ear cup receiver and 80mm body PTT. The system picks up the voice through bone vibrations in the head. The mic and ear cup assemblies are encapsulated in molded rubber shells for comfort and protection from the elements. The kit is compatible for four- or five-point facepiece harnesses and webbed-backed harnesses. WWW.OTTOENG.COM OR 888-234-6886
