Jun 1, 2008 12:00 PM, By Donny Jackson

The Community Foundation of New Jersey, on behalf of the city of Newark, N.J., and its police department, has awarded ShotSpotter a $1.2 million contract to deploy its wireless gunshot-location system in the city.
