NEWS Ericsson, Omnipoint sign agreement on PCS technology

Ericsson, Richardson, TX, has signed an agreement with Omnipoint, Colorado Springs, CO, for personal communications services (PCS) equipment using Omnipoint's IS-661 and Ericsson's PCS 1900 technologies. Ericsson will purchase a multi-million dollar license to market Omnipoint's IS-661 technology.
