NEWS Tellabs acquires Steinbrecher

Tellabs, Lisle, IL, intends to acquire Steinbrecher, Burlington, MA. Under terms of an agreement, Tellabs will acquire 100% of Steinbrecher's outstanding share capital for about $76 million. Steinbrecher is completing development of its MiniCell family of cellular base station products. Targeted applications include indoor cellular and wireless local loop.
