Oklahoma City upgrades communications system

Sep 1, 2006 12:00 PM

Oklahoma City is replacing its existing Dictaphone Freedom System with a solution from NICE Systems. The solution will capture communications from 16 call-taker positions and interactions from 60 IP phones used at the city's new communications center, according to Nice. It also will include the Scenario Replay software, which lets users view radio- and phone-based emergency communications from an incident in a graphical timeline.
