Oregon first responders upgrade to mesh network

Wireless integrator Invictus Networks and mobile broadband, mesh network solutions provider BelAir Networks designed and deployed a next-generation, public-safety network in the city of Beaverton, Ore. Police officers now can access the city's network and the Portland police data system through a remote application while in their patrol cars. They also can wirelessly access real-time mug shots and digitized fingerprints, according to the companies.
