Report: Health care RFID market to top $8 billion by 2010

Analyst firm Research and Markets estimated in a report that radio frequency identification in the U.S. hospital sector would be worth approximately $8.8 billion by 2010. Hardware and software integration will be worth $1.3 billion, wireless networks $1.3 billion, enterprise-related software $1.4 billion and hospital connectivity $4.8 billion.
