RFID system to be tested for hazmat management

Alanco Technologies' TSI PRISM subsidiary has been awarded a $100,000 pilot contract to develop a new radio frequency identification, or RFID, tracking and monitoring system that can manage hazardous materials stored in high-security federal government facilities, the company announced. The installation of the pilot system will be completed by the end of this year.
