RFID tracks Australian military shipments

The Australian Defense Force sent the first RFID-tagged shipments from Australia into the Middle East. The shipments include active-RFID-tagged pallets and containers that use a wireless-tracking network built by Savi Technology and operated by the Department of Defense, NATO, the U.K. and other coalition forces.
