S.C. county deploys GPS tracking system

Richland County, S.C., deployed Radio Satellite Integrators' automatic vehicle location system to track public-works fleets operating throughout the county. The system combines GPS, two-way radio and mapping software for the real-time transmission of fleet-location data to dispatchers and administrators, according to the company.
