Steel company invests in RFID

Dublin, Calif.-based Sybase iAnywhere announced that Detroit, Mich.-based ThyssenKrupp Steel would deploy its RFID Anywhere system. The software-based infrastructure will be used in ThyssenKrupp's new steel mill in the Bay of Sepetiba, Brazil, to identify RFID-tagged steel slabs.
