TD-CDMA networks are running on five continents, with ongoing trials with global wireless operators. Leading global operators such as Orange, PCCW, Sprint and T-Mobile have announced initiatives with TD-CDMA. With commercial services first launched in 2003, deployments are under way in several countries worldwide, including Australia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nigeria, South Africa, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the U.S.
