Tennessee county selects P25 vendor

Cumberland County, Tenn., officials chose EADS Secure Networks North America to deliver a Project 25 IP-based, digital trunked radio system for its public-safety officers. The new system will replace the county's conventional, analog system and will support interoperability between the area's sheriff, fire, rescue, medical services and emergency-management departments.
