Texas officials upgrade public-safety software

CompuDyne Corp. of Annapolis, Md., announced that its Tiburon Inc. subsidiary has been awarded a $2 million contract by Travis County, Texas, to upgrade the software used to manage the county's public-safety and criminal-justice system, including law-enforcement records management, corrections management, prosecutor-information, probation and civil-process systems.
