Oct 1, 2000 12:00 PM, MOBILE RADIO TECHNOLOGY STAFF

The Dekalb County, GA, Department of Public Safety has signed a $647,00 contract to receive VisionAIR's law enforcement records management system (VisionRMS) and wireless information system (VisionMobile). The applications, which operate on a WindowsNT platform, are part of VisionAIR's Public Safety Suite of products.

Lieutenant Ric Clark said that VisionAIR was selected based on the company's ability to provide all the products and services that fit the organizational structure of the department. "In addition, we really liked the mobile product's ease of use. We believe it will require very little training, which was a major deciding factor."
